Borja Consulting Group works with Multi-family, Hotel and innovation-driven companies on how capital gets raised, structured and put to work. Fifteen years of it, on both sides of the table.

Most people who advise on capital have only ever seen it from one side. Dr. Borja has spent fifteen years working with founders trying to raise, and with the investors deciding whether to back them. That is the whole basis of how this firm works: the questions an investor will ask get asked here first, while there is still time to answer them well.
He founded Borja Consulting Group in 2018. Since then the work has narrowed to where it does the most good, capital strategy for Multi-family, Hotel and innovation-driven companies, and the investors who back them.
He also runs Borja Capital, the investment side, which is why the advice tends to be blunt about what will and will not clear a real investment committee.
Easier to be useful about what a firm refuses to do than about what it claims to value.
The assessment and the qualification exist so both sides find out early whether this is worth the time. Sometimes the honest answer is not yet.
A first raise and a fifth raise are different problems. So are a hotel deal and a software round. The work starts from your position, not a template.
If the raise is not ready, you hear it here rather than from an investor who then stops replying.
